I laughed so hard I cried.

    Then I just cried.

    But now I’m laughing again.

Never before in the course of human history has such concrete evidence of such utter frickin’ cluelessness sailed right over the heads of so many millions of people.

It’s OK for the Republicans to pass a $700 Billion dollar bailout bill for banks and Wall St. with NO controls or oversight, but it isn’t OK for Democrats and 76% of the American public to approve the spending of $790 Billion Dollars for the benefit of Main St.!

The Democratic Administration went so far as to allow a large amount of money to be allocated for tax reduction. That was a requirement for Republicans before they would support the legislation. Now you and the GOP is complining that it’s a lot of money to be spending on our economy. That’s typically illogical and against everything our voting public wanted.

The stimulous by the injection of money directly into the economy is the ONLY way to begin a recovery. By the way, the governments of the world are applauding the steps that have been taken by the Democratic President and Congress.

OMG, these people need to be sent to bed without their supper. I mean, I like a good joke as much as anybody, but really, can we please put adults back in charge of things? Instead of whiny, petulant children intent upon making things “fair”? It’s like all the kids who got picked last at dodgeball are suddenly in charge, and this is their payback…

Trainwreck, I thought the original post was funny until I read this. Even the sheer lunacy of the statement you made, which is facile, ignorant, and provably false to anyone with four functioning brain cells, canot compete with the abject lack of intellect that it requires for someone to believe this drivel. Have fun with the depression this will cause. While you’re at it, look at the history of the depression and what FDR did. Maybe you’ll learn something.

    I doubt it.

Where is that money coming from?

    Mainstreet? MAINSTREET??

What? How? What makes you think MAINSTREET will see a single cent?

The liberals have just borrowed more money than has been borrowed at one time by the US government in the history of our nation INCLUDING WWII… putting ourselves, our children and grandchildren in hock… and you think that’s going to STIMULATE the economy? By taxing people to pay off a debt, with interest, that is so huge it boggles the mind?

Who gives a flying fig what the world thinks? THEY aren’t the ones tied to this enormous millstone for the rest of eternity.

People defend this crap by saying in effect “Bush wasted money, its our turn now!”. LOL.

Grownups are talking here, sonny. Does your mom know you’re surfing the ‘net instead of doing your homework?

    PS:

It’s OK for the Republicans to pass a $700 Billion dollar bailout bill…

It’s okay for who to pass a bill?

It’s okay for WHO to pass a bill?

Who’s been in charge of Congress since 2006?

You are a fucking moron. You have no business discussing things like politics or the economy around adults until you’ve watched at least some goddam Schoolhouse Rock, you retard. (Sing with me now: “I’m just a bill, yes I’m only a bill, and I’m sitting…” Where? Where is the bill sitting?)

    Dunce.

Read carefully: the verb was “address,” not “reduce.” One way to address a deficit is to deliberately run it up further.

Address it? Run it up the flag-poll and salute it! ROFL Democrat Congress: egress, digress, regress, sea-grass, retards…

This “stimulous” i meant and designed to do three things- provide patronage for the future, reward past loyalty, and further increase dependence on benefits by decreasing the value of savings- punishing thrift and enterprise.

It will work just fine for those purposes.

Depressions, panics, and inflation are great nurseries for inducing the people to demand and empower saviors.

    Hey gals and guys,

I’m having an Economic Stimulus Pizza Party. Let me know how many of you are interested, so I can cut enough slices for everyone. I was going to buy a large pizza already cut into eight slices, but I figured it would be better to get an uncut, frozen one and cut it into sixteen slices myself. Twice as much pizza for everyone!
