There’s Always Free Cheese In A Mousetrap

Soooo, the SIG SB15 “Pistol” “Brace”.

Clever end run around stupid and anachronistic legal hassles or this generation’s SWD Striker-12?

Will the ATF demand we hand over the Pistol Brace units only or will they also take the gun it’s attached to?

Sticking our your tongue at the government is fun for about 30 seconds, right until they tase you and throw you in jail and proceed to ruin your life by forcing you to spend every dollar you have to defend yourself against the weight of the government.

How many SWD Strikers sold? You could have a Striker/Streetsweeper/USAS-12 owners club meeting in a broom closet. They sell more arm braces at any gun show than all three of those shotguns sold combined ever period.

“Common Use” and “The courts will follow where the culture leads.”

Incidentally, I’d bet money that even a half-hearted legal challenge could move those back to Title I, since there’s no reason the USAS-12 should be an NFA gun while the equally imported MKA-1919 is Title I. Sporting purposes? Show the judge and jury a DVD of 3 Gun Nation. Boom.

Right, one thing the SB15 has going for it is that you can set a SB15 pistol next to a Colt 6920 and Grandma won’t see why one’s Evil and the other isn’t. It just doesn’t have that “OMG HOW IS THAT LEGAL” look about it to the layman.

Also, the shotguns were serialized, these are just chunks of plastic. Lord only knows how many thousands are out there or where they all are. I think that the BATF was presented with a fait accompli here. (Plus, the gun nerd community has a pretty strong Fifth Column in Tech Branch. ;) )
