That velcro sidesaddle idea is pretty slick. Beats the heck out of a TacStar or a buttcuff. Looks like I have another DIY project in my future.
Related: Have you checked out the new(ish) Magpul MOE 870 forend? Any idea on what kind of light would work well ergonomically with that?
I haven’t had a chance to see one in person, but all the reviews I’ve read are positive.
I’m not a huge fan of putting the light on the foreend, I really prefer the Streamlight 870 mount with a pistol light on it.
