DCNC Handgun Retention Class review.
These guys are the real deal, reasonably priced and genuinely dedicated to increasing the skills of all shooters. I have taken 4 classes with them and will again.

Looks pretty similar to the Defensive Tactics week we had at the police academy. Remember that a one-day course is only a very basic overview of this stuff: Way the heck better than nothing, but not even close to a thorough understanding. Even the cops usually don’t get that.
Is there anywhere in the Triad or Triangle that you’d suggest where I might be able to rent a Walther PPQ? I’ve tried Pro-Shots in Rural Hall and Calibers in Greensboro. Neither has one. Hoping to make my first purchase, but would the chance to fire it before I buy.
You can try the Sportsman’s Lodge out by Yadkinville. http://www.thesportsmanslodge.org/ They don’t have one listed, but give ‘em a call.
Do they have a “I’m broke and have a surplus euro gun because I can’t afford a modern gun” defensive gun class?
They’re good at working with what students bring, just be prepared to hear in detail the ways in which your gun sucks.
